Deaf 4th year medical student leveraging technology resources at the UC Davis School of Medicine

Here is a video showing you the story of Amanda Mooneyham who is profoundly deaf and is in her 4th year of medical school at the UC Davis School of Medicine:



Amanda Mooneyham, who is profoundly deaf, has employed technology, lip reading and interpreters to take full advantage of her medical education. Now in her fourth year at UC Davis School of Medicine, she also recently completed a master's degree in public health plans a career in family medicine.
